What?! No!! Why?! Can't books just be books?!? This isn't the kind of book that should be a movie!! ARGH!!!
I have dire fears that they will try to make the Outlander books into movies, and there is absolutely no way they would do a good job -- unless they were like HBO miniseries.. then maybe.. MAYBE.. but really.. just leave books as books!

Inorite? I have to admit, I was hopeful when I heard it was being made into a film, but this trailer has dashed all those hopes. Rachel McAdams isn't who I would have picked for Clare. I didn't picture Clare being that tiny. Although I'm impressed with how they're doing the dissapearing of henry. That part looks pretty cool.
I'll prolly go see and grind my teeth at how everything is all wrong.
But if the Star Wars prequels have taught us anything it's that CGI does not a movie make.
I also picture Henry much better looking. :P I think I'm gonna start reading this to the bf at night so we can go see it and complain together in August (we did this with The Golden Compass too).

Yeah, I pictured this story set in a different decade. And.. I don't know that it'll translate well to the screen. Pity, the book is so amazing.
