About 45 minutes ago, Teapot came scrambling in the office and Neko was all "She has a mouse!" We have never, ever seen Teapot pursue live prey.
The mouse got away and there being a live mouse scurrying in the house led to a shrieking Felicia and me, and Neko trying to trap the mouse so Teapot could catch it.
When it ran into the closet, I yelled, "It's going to lay eggs in there!"
And Neko reminded me of the obvious. Mice do not lay eggs.
So, the living room ended up being torn to bits and at one point Neko even had a knife in his hand and the dog was barking and the baby was crying and it was a fiasco.
Neko eventually caught the mouse and tossed it outside.
